CAR-T is an innovative treatment, which uses the power of the patient’s own immune system. A patient’s T-cells are genetically modified to eliminate cancer cells. This ground-breaking, innovative technology provides hopeful prospects to patients where other therapies have failed or fail to provide adequate results.
We are currently in the project phase of a new innovative CAR-T project. A growing team of passionate talent is building the new sites in Ghent, developing, and refining all tools, processes and procedures that ensure a highly reliable, safe, and efficient production process. Johnson & Johnson entered this platform in a global, strategic partnership with Legend Biotech.
This position will be supporting our two new manufacturing facilities (Obelisc & Tech Lane) in the leading Biotechnology Hub of Ghent, Belgium. Role and responsibilities:
The Warehouse Project Start Up Systems Coordinator will play a crucial key user role in the management and ongoing implementations of our SAP Europe2 warehouse management system. Key user responsibilities include:
Define and capture warehouse business needs, translate them into user requirements and presenting them to the ERP Business Process Owner and IT
Participate in release planning, demo sessions and coordinate testing for system validation
Support the translation of warehouse management system functionalities into the operational procedures and work instructions
Provide second line-level troubleshooting for JNJ system-related issues and act as escalation point for our partner Legend Biotech, contributing to root cause analysis and systematic system performance improvement
Act as warehouse process SME representative for related systems such as Chain of Identity/Custody (COI/COC), CQuence, SAP S4Hana, eLIMS…
Establish and maintain a governance model with regards to end user access requests and training, issue resolution, and system enhancement requests
Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to operational logistic projects, allowing you to actively participate in the development of new processes, material flows, and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years
Qualification & skills
You have a bachelor’s or master's degree, preferably in an engineering, supply chain, information technology or equivalent
You are experienced with supply chain systems (SAP, eLIMS, OMP…) and have an affinity with data
You like to work together towards a common goal.
You can deal with procedures and guidelines that require strict application, and with changing situations where not everything is clear yet.

Experience in warehousing, logistics, IT systems or cell therapy (CAR-T) is an asset
Other requirements
Location of role is Ghent preferred (minimum 40%), Fluency in English is a must
