SUMMARYThe Line Cook prepares food for service to resort guests. This position performs any duties that relate to the operation of a food preparation area by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES(include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Cooks, ensures proper storage/handling of food and cleans within the kitchen.
  • Prepares quality food with the best presentation at all times while staying in line with ServSafe
  • Performs all side duties necessary for daily business.
  • Prepares standard kitchen items (ie. cutting mire poix for soup, peeling potatoes, labeling and dating food, etc)
  • Stocks and maintains product for daily use.
  • Performs all duties to keep the kitchen clean (ie. breaking down boxes, taking out garbage, supporting the dishwasher in washing dishes, etc.)
  • Works in other Food & Beverage outlets as needed.
  • Makes important decisions regarding the safety of staff/guests, including safety and cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Comes to work in proper uniform and adheres to proper grooming practices.
  • Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or unrelated to original position.
