Creative Circle, LLC Senior Director, Product and Marketing (9470) in Earth City, Missouri

Our small business retail client is hiring a Senior Director, Product and Marketing to join their team. Some travel may be required, including extended overnight travel in the US and abroad (up to two weeks in duration).

The Senior Director, Product and Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing and product development departments. You'll be challenged to assess the current state and provide a roadmap to growth. The following initiatives will be their priority in the first 6-12 months: 1. Marketing and eCommerce Execution: Our client currently leverages both an in-house team as well as freelancers and agencies to manage all aspects of marketing, digital marketing, and eCommerce. With eCommerce being a significant growth opportunity, one of the first areas of focus will be to create the proper organizational structure and go-to-market approach to fuel continued growth in this area. 2. Independent Retailer Recruitment and Retention: While independent childrens boutiques are the core business at our client, as an industry, they are not growing. For our client to continue to grow in this area, the company needs to be more effective at recruiting and retaining new retailers. Our client experiences high turnover in this segment of the business, and a strategy and system is needed to both recruit new customers and retain the customers that currently buy. 3. Product Line Expansion: Both branded and private label customers are open to buying other products from our client. You will play a leading role in prioritizing where to expand, as well as developing and honing the skills needed to source or manufacture new products.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 5 years related experience, 10 years preferred Supervisory experience including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

SOFTWARE/ TOOLS - Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer. Must be capable of developing proficiency on several internal systems, including ERP System (MAS90).
