JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: The residential estimator position focuses on sales and customer relationships while leveraging basic construction knowledge. The estimator communicates and meets with customers to prepare and complete proposals for residential asphalt paving, grading, and pavement maintenance projects. The position is responsible for their day-to-day scheduling and is expected to communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner. The residential estimator coordinates signed work with the residential construction manager and reports to senior project management. The position can expect a 45-to-55-hour work week based on task completion. Position requires estimator to be flexible to accommodate Saturday customer meetings when requested. Roles and Responsibilities: Effectively communicate with customers in reference to their estimate, project schedule, and project completion Utilize software for scheduling, sketches, proposals, billing, and communication Measure and analyze information in the field to accurately estimate size, equipment, material, and labor needed for residential work Prepare neat and organized sketches, drawings, and proposals Prepare proposals that accurately address the customers\' requirements Manage change orders Coordinate project layout, including grades, with the construction manager Qualifications: High School Diploma Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and email Proficient with software, Microsoft, computers, and other forms of technology Construction knowledge Mathematical aptitude Ability to work independently Ability to work in professional manner Valid Driver\'s License Ability to understand and follow safety requirements, company policies, and procedures Preferred Skills: Professional Communication Organization and prioritization skills Attention to detail and accuracy Adaptable to change If interested in applying, please stop by our office located at 8075 County Road D, Eagle River, WI 54521 to fill out an application.
