Thomas Reuters Senior Full Stack C#/.NET Developer in Eagan, Minnesota

The Senior Full Stack C#/.NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing application software for existing Thomson Reuters products in addition to new development initiatives. They will perform debugging, testing, and code improvement tasks. They will also work with customer care and quality assurance teams to optimize products and ensure products continue to satisfy customer needs. The duties of the Senior Full Stack C#/.NET Developer will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. Work is varied, and is organizationally and relationally complex, and requires a high degree of discretion and independent judgment. About the Role In this opportunity as Senior Full Stack C#/.NET Developer, you will: Designs and develops user interfaces to Web/client applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying, and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers. Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Updates job knowledge by researching new web/client technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities. Safeguards organizational Human Resources and financial sensitive information from unauthorized usage and individuals. About You You're a fit for the role of Senior Full Stack C#/.NET Developer if your background includes: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years of hands-on experience in Web Application Development. At least one year of hands-on experience in C# / .NET Development. At least one year of hands-on experience with SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and creating tables. At least one year of experience with Restful API Development. Experience with Agile Development Planning and Software Development Lifecycle. Experience with GIT, TFS, or Subversion Source Code Version Control. Must have high energy level; be self-motivated, with a results-oriented demeanor. Must have ability to follow direction and complete tasks on-time. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $91,700 - $170,300. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
