BEP/Lyman LLC dba Villaume Industries (ABC Truss). headquartered at 2926 Lone Oak Cir., Eagan, MN 55121 phone number: (651) 454-3610, is looking to fill ten (10) Production Worker Helper positions from 05.15.2024 to 12.31.2024. This is for full time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include Help production workers by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include the following: supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Workers will assist with general production work and assembling trusses. Workers will load lumber onto truss table at joints and fasten them with various tools including hammers, nails, drills, screws, and application of glue. Worker may operate a roller to secure truss plates. Worker will load and unload items onto equipment for processing and package finished products for shipping. Worker will ensure products are in conformance to company s specifications. The production worker will accurately record product s data and pull damaged or ineffective equipment off the processing line. Special requirements include: Three (3) months of production or related experience required. Must be able to lift seventy-five (75) lbs. frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, post-accident, and other random drug testing. Workers may be required to work flexible shifts. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour with overtime available at $30.00 per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week from 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm and/or 2nd shift: 4:00pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 2926 Lone Oak Cir., Eagan, MN 55121 and will service clients within the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI BLS/MSA, including the counties of Dakota. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites. Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is weekly. Employer provides housing and utilities to the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $90.00. Employer will provide transport at a weekly payroll deduction of $15. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. The offered housing is optional to workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to of er work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor.
