We are hiring a Materials Management Specialist - Recycling for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Materials Management Specialist - Recycling, you will be responsible for working as a member on our Core Publishing Solutions team. For this role, you would be eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus after 90 days (excludes internal employees). Hours of Work - Eagan, Minnesota 1st shift - 6:30 am - 2:30 pm Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts About the Role: In this opportunity as a Materials Management Specialist - Recycling, you will be responsible for: Safely operating baling equipment while making quality bales. Performing routine upkeep tasks on all baling equipment as trained and instructed. Monitoring the status of balers, cyclones and related equipment. Calling the Parts Room if a service technician is needed. Reporting unresolved malfunctions to the supervisor. Driving a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, or trailer hitch, to safely push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Assisting operational areas with material movement between departments Maintaining housekeeping standards for a clean and safe baling room, operational departments, and recycling department operations. As trained and directed, preparing shipping papers for all recycled material, trash, metal or any other material as needed and tracking all material that is shipped out. About You: You're a fit for the role of Materials Management Specialist - Recycling if your background includes: Possess a High School Diploma or higher. Candidates with a vocational/technical degree are strongly preferred Forklift experience preferred (2+ years) Mechanical skills preferred Proven ability to resolve both routine and non-routine issues Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
