Genesis10 is seeking a Developer for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: This position works in support of enhancements and maintenance of the core MRx Auth application or think of this as Prior Authorization or Medical Specialty Authorizations. The ecosystem is mostly VB.Net and then heavy SQL skills to assist with database management operations. The role will be 50% working with VB.Net and this will be to research or debug code and the other 50% of the role will be focused on the database management operations which includes writing SQL for functions, triggers, query inserts. This resource must be fine with minor changes to the application. Required Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of programming experience .NET/VB.Net Experience Strong ability to analyze problems and implement sustainable solutions Able to understand and develop functional and non-functional requirements for a system Proved ability to develop, test and maintain code using software development methodology and appropriate technologies for the system being used Can integrate systems to databases and other applications using SQL and REST based services, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong debugging and research skills Nice to have: Agile Experience Works with multiple programming frameworks; programs in two or more programming language/platforms Critical thinker Angular and Blazor familiarity Demonstrated continued learning of new technologies Ability to share technical knowledge with audiences with varying degrees of technical expertise Team organization The 100% remote agile team is organized around pods of 6 to 8 people, 50% dev/ 50% analyst. The pod commits to work together in 2-week sprints. We are looking for team members that can work in a standing team environment, pair with stakeholders, other developers and analysts as needed. Soft Skills Needed: Work with minimal direction and is capable of working quickly while delivering high-quality outputs. Collaborate across IT to understand features and technical implementation and ensure highest quality product delivery. Learn rapidly and enthusiastically, focusing on understanding the application/product/area in detail. With limited guidance, participate in requirements documentation, business systems configuration and defining/execution of acceptance criteria. Document issues and participate in their resolution. Test applications and products at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. Track and measure metrics for key processes to deliver measurably differentiated business outcomes. Tracking to delivery dates and escalating as necessary. Developer skills and abilities Needed: Working in support of enhancements and maintenance of a group of homegrown apps that support the end-to-end business of Medical Specialty Authorization. .NET/VB.Net Experience Analyzes problems. Understands and develops functional and non-functional requirements for a system. Develops, tests and maintains code using software development methodology and appropriate technologies for the system being used. Integrates systems to databases and other applications using SQL and REST based services, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong debugging skills. Possesses proficiency in automated testing strategies, including TDD. Agile Experience Works with multiple programming frameworks, program in two or more programming language/platforms. Critical thinker. Demonstrated problem solving techniques. Angular, Blazor familiarity. API test tools like Postman etc. Demonstrated continued learning of new technologies. Ability to share technical knowledge with audiences with varying degrees of technical expertise.
