MISO Energy 2025 Summer Internship - Electrical Engineering (Undergraduate) in Eagan, Minnesota

Description

As our Electrical Engineer Intern , you will spend approximately 90% of your time utilizing your ideas and efforts to work on technically challenging and personally rewarding projects that build on and broaden your technical skills, which will help prepare you for future roles as leaders and innovators. To help you do this, you will partner with your manager and mentor with the team you join, as well as a “buddy” from a different department for additional MISO connections. You will enrich your education by taking part in “lunch and learns” to understand how other MISO departments help keep the lights on; to round out your internship experience, you will give back to the community with a community service project, participate in social events, and have the ability to network with a lot of hardworking and diverse people!

To round out your internship experience, you’ll participate in a community service project, engage in social events, and network with a diverse group of dedicated professionals.

The internship experience will culminate with a high-profile opportunity to present your summer project results and recommendations to department team members and company leadership.

As our MISO Intern, you will…

  • Participate in projects that build and broaden your technical skills and prepare you for future roles and ideal career path as future leaders and change agents.

  • Work an average of 40 hours per week onsite in one of our offices.

To be eligible for the program, you must be available to start Wednesday, May 28 th , 2025 and continue through Friday, August 8 th , 2025 or you will not qualify for the program.
