ERMCO (Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative Inc) Assembler in Dyersburg, Tennessee

This position will use their skillset to assemble Pole, Pad, or 3Phase transformers while considering the values and goals of ERMCO. Understand and carry out detailed written/verbal instructions regarding the installation of specific components for each type of ERMCO manufactured transformer. Ensure safe and proper operation of tools and equipment in the installation of transformer components. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices and/or co-workers. Ensure conformity of internal and final transformer assemblies and decals to ERMCO standards. Follow all ERMCO safety polices and procedures. Communicate understand, and follow oral and written instructions; Use an iPad or other electronic communication device; Work in a team environment with open communication and collaboration; Use of organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary;Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; Demonstrate proper lifting techniques; Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials; Use measuring devices such as tape measure and calipers (digital and manual); Use hand/power tools such as cordless drills, air ratchets, wrenches, pliers, and hammers; Must be able to lift,/push 75+ lbs. and pull up to 60lbs.; Frequent standing and walking is necessary;
