The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Dutchess County, New York
The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Pawling is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Position can be Full-Time or Per-Diem
PTA Duties Include:
Measuring & recording resident motor function, strength & muscle performance.
Assisting physical therapists in developing treatment plans.
Observing residents; writing progress reports.
Evaluating residents' ability to function independently.
Assisting residents with exercises & equipment; treating residents with stretches, massages, etc.
Educating residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle & improve mobility.
Contributing to team effort.
Requirements Include:
Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
Current New York State PTA License.
Experience in LTC is a plus!
