The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Director of Nursing in Dutchess County, New York

We are actively seeking a Director of Nursing for our skilled Nursing facility.

Duties Include:

  • Management responsibilities including maintaining exceptional quality of care for Residents in the facility.

  • Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.

  • Meet the nursing needs of all residents.

  • Coordinate and direct care planning for nursing services.

  • Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.

  • Conduct interviews with respective nursing candidates and guide the hiring and onboarding process to ensure proper clinical staffing needs.

  • Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.

Requirements Include:

  • Current New York State RN license required.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Long-Term Care settings.

  • Innovative trainings with clinical staff in the building.

  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

  • Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision.
