Cardinal Health Office Coordinator/Pick Planning in Durham, North Carolina
Work schedule is 9:00am-5:30pm (or until the work is complete) Monday-Friday.
What Office Services/Pick Planning contributes to Cardinal Health
Office Services is responsible for performing a variety of clerical activities in support of their work teams in accordance with standard procedures. This includes clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and distributing mail. Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates accounts payables, including check requests, invoice payment requests, end of month accruals, ensuring cost enters are accurately charged
- Orders office supplies for all of distribution center
- Maintains inventory of distribution supplies
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of general clerical and administrative office functions, processes, and procedures
- Manages relationships via various channels as needed
- Assists in problem resolution (payroll, invoicing, orders, etc.)
- Acts as project lead for scheduling and coordination of specialized events & activities
- Utilizes specialized computer skills and applications to complete tasks
- Generates custom reports or perform advanced functions as needed
- Utilizes office equipment and tools to perform a variety of specialized tasks without direction
- Manages initiatives requiring use of intermediate organizational skills
- Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures
- Facilitates new employee orientation
- Manages and updates business resiliency plan
- Works with transportation on scheduling Outbound deliveries
- Monitors group mailbox for emergency requests
- Works within our warehouse management system
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred
- 4 to 6 years work experience in related field preferred
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Proficient in MS Office programs and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous payroll and accounts payable experience desired
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business
