Job description: We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Mechanical and MEP group at our growing RTP office as SME Mechanical Engineer. Your Day-to-day Will Include: • Perform engineering design evaluations and lead project engineering design, specific to Mechanical and HVAC Engineering • Have thorough knowledge of the applicable Building, Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing Codes • Have ability to design mechanical systems, energy modeling analysis, energy code compliance calculations • Prepare engineering analysis of projects, to include: preliminary design, budget analysis, calculations, life cycle costs, and equipment selection • Prepare drawings and layouts; proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD • Prepare technical construction specifications • Coordinate with other disciplines with both in house and outside consultants • Performs field observations as part of the construction quality assurance process What You’ll Need: • 4-year Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution. • Professional Engineer (PE) License Preferred • High level of written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail. • Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
