Summary:

As a Commercial and Marketing IT Consultant, this position will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business objectives. They will collaborate with the IT Application Director and the Managerial Client Roles to understand their commercial and marketing needs, assess existing IT applications, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance overall business performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and good presentation and communication skills to drive successful IT solutions aligned with commercial and marketing strategies.

This role also will participate actively in the definition of the IT Commercial and Mk, Tech Service Road Map within the Area Director to ensure there is a consistent alignment in the strategy definition, prioritization and delivery of Technological solutions within this area and will work closely with the Platform teams for their implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration

  • Engage with clients to understand their commercial and marketing goals, challenges, and IT requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their business processes.

Requirements Analysis

  • Conduct thorough analysis of clients' commercial and marketing requirements.

  • Translate business needs into IT solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

IT Strategy Development

  • Develop comprehensive IT strategies that align with clients' commercial and marketing objectives.

  • Provide recommendations for technology adoption, intergration, and optimization to enhance business effeciency and competitiveness.

Digital Transformation

  • Identify opportunities for digital transfomation within the commercial and marketing domains.

  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve customer experience, increase operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts.

Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

  • Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to derive actionable insights for commercial and marketing strategies.

  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes to enhance overall business performance.

Security and Compliance

  • Address security concerns and ensure IT solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Implement measures to safeguard sensitive commercial and marketing data.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilites:

  • Strong understanding of business processes and commercial dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and their applications in commercial and marketing contexts.

  • Great organizational skills, team player and familiarity working with distributed and international teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Any certification in Digital Marketing or CRM tools will be greatly considered.

Experience:

Proven experience as an IT consultant with a focus on commercial and marketing solutions at least 5 years.

Equivalency:

Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements.

Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associates degree with 6 years experiwnce, or a Master's with 2 years of expereince.

Occupational Demands:

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.
