Assistant/Associate Professor Education Educational Leadership
Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Educational Leadership at the Assistant/Associate Professor classification. Candidates are required to have an earned doctoral degree in education, with a concentration in educational leadership/administration, or a related, acceptable field from an accredited university. The candidates should have significant experience teaching in public schools, and as a principal. Superintendent/central office experience and a record of successful college or university teaching (including distance education teaching) are preferred qualifications. This position requires teaching graduate level courses in educational leadership in the online environment using Canvas. Tenure track faculty members will be expected to provide evidence of effective classroom teaching, research/scholarship, and contributions to the institution and profession commensurate with rank.
Southeastern Oklahoma State University, founded in 1909 as a teacher college, continues the strong tradition of producing outstanding educators for southeast Oklahoma and north Texas. Student enrollment on the campus(s) is approximately 5,500 and the campus is situated in rural Oklahoma. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The preferred start date is January 2, 2025 and may require multiple campus assignments as well as varied time and delivery methods. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
