66389BRAuto req ID:66389BRDepartment:34652 - Admissions Brooks/TLC Job Description:The Patient Access Technician collects and processes patient information necessary for admitting Inpatients, Outpatients, and Emergency room patients into the hospital system and to drive the workflow of other departments in accordance with policies and procedures set by the hospital by, including, but not limited to: identifying and verifying method of payment for services rendered; meets or exceeds accuracy standard goals; collection of co-payments at time of service; maintaining patient confidentiality; answers all calls on the main switchboard in a timely manner and works independently without direct supervision.
