59051BRAuto req ID:59051BRDepartment:34749 - Gow Urgent Care Clinic Job Description:Under the direction of a supervising physician, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant total medical care to patients in a primary care and urgent care setting following established medical standards, procedures, and practices in New York State. Works with insurance companies relative to appropriate authorizations to assure payment for services. Demonstrates knowledge of Federal and New York State Regulations with regards to scope of practice. Maintain current knowledge of payor policies, as well as Evaluation and Management Services Guidelines. Maintains electronic medical records by charting as appropriate, for continuity of patient care. Completes all required documentation completely, accurately, within required timeframes. Serves as a professional role model for all clinic staff and provides service excellence to internal and external customers, meeting or exceeding expectations.Location:TLCRecruiter:Vanessa BorowiakTitle:Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantMinimum or Preferred Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent per NYSDOH regulations. NYS License with current registration. National certification preferred. ACLS and ATLC course work required. At least one (1) year of experience in an urgent care or emergency department setting.
