You can be a part of making an awesome product! Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning and directing the work of production team members. The Production Supervisor will participate in safety and quality initiatives, will monitor production schedules, and provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure job requirements are met. Core Functions: Participate in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment. Focusing on incident and accident reduction through identification and recording of first aid, near misses, and behavior-based observations. Plan and direct the work of team members based on production needs. Ensure the quality of the product at all stages of the manufacturing process. Ability to understand and monitor production schedules and required build rates. Address potential bottlenecks and allocation of resources as necessary. Drive and support continuous improvement throughout the department. Provide coaching and feedback to production team members to ensure job requirements are met. Evaluate staffing needs and participate in the selection and training of new co-workers. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED is required; an Associates' degree is preferred. 1-3 years of previous supervisor experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
