UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team! Certified candidates are preferred.
This position is working part-time at our Dundee Draw Station located in Dundee, NY!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, collects blood specimens for the laboratory from appropriate patients according to the Standard Operating Procedure Manual (SOPM) and accepted practices.

Minimum:
High School graduate
Preferred :
Training in phlebotomy
LICENSE:
Minimum:
Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

Certified phlebotomist
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
Previous phlebotomy experience
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
Computer literacy
Preferred :
Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record
Salary Range: $16.97-$18.52
