JobsRUs.com is currently hiring for Machine Operators for a plastic recycling company in Dundee, MI. 

  • Previous experience working in a recycling facility is preferred. 
  • Will be exposed to high levels of noise, recyclable debris and smell.

  • These are day shift positions working 12 hours. 

  • Work schedule is 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

  • Pay is $17.50 per hour. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety procedures and practice good housekeeping. Perform job duties in accordance to all written work instructions and procedures. Operate and maintain equipment and forklifts used to manufacture product at acceptable quality and throughput levels per control plan. Perform quality checks related to line operation. As needed utilize manufacturing data systems to perform basic shop floor functions. Respond to process control alarms, bringing processes back into control. Disposition non-conforming product according to established criteria. Coordinates the training sessions for all new hires in the department. Identifies opportunities for departmental improvement. Assists in change overs, productivity and scrap. Assists in training and mentoring as assigned. Participate in Plant meetings. Other duties as assigned.
