JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for overseeing Bank Secrecy Act related tasks including preparing Currency Transaction Reports, Large Cash Transaction logging, Kiting Suspect Reports. Monitor BSA Risks Accounts and prepare letters to Money Service Businesses and Privately Owned ATM accounts. Non-customer Cash Advance logs, Gift Card logs, monthly review Monetary Instrument logs, large wire and ACH transactions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Review and prepare CTRs to be transmitted to Fin-Cen.

Review and log large cash transactions over 3,000.00 in Excel

Review kiting suspects reports and add messages on the system as needed.

Monitor BSA Risk Accounts by reviewing cash-ins/outs and checks and deposits and monthly statements, adding the results to Excel files

Adding non-customer advances to Excel file.

Adding gift cards sold to Excel file

Monthly review of cashiers checks purchased over 3,000.00 in cash.

Monthly review of large Wires and ACH transactions

Quarterly send letters to MSBs and POAs that have not registered with Fin-Cen and State

Verify Wire Transfer and ACH transactions going to TIB as needed.

Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers, and customers

Follow the directions of the supervisor

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bookkeeping/clerical experience (including filing, letter writing,, etc.)

10-Key

Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Dependable, trustworthy, and willing to work as a member of a team while producing thorough and accurate work.

Customer service experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to follow written and oral instruction

Ability to use 10-key adding machine by touch.

Strong proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word and Excel, AS400, and Windows XP.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is primarily sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

Sitting for long periods; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
