Weekend Specialist Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Overview: We are looking to add Weekend Recreation Specialists to our Trillium Team; a unique opportunity to earn up to $1,450 by working just 2 weekends per month, on an every other weekend rotating schedule! This is the perfect position for someone looking to earn some extra income, a secondary job, and/or employment that fits an academic schedule! Weekend Recreational Specialist (DSP) Job Description: As a Weekend Recreation Specialist (DSP) you will typically work every other Friday through Sunday. You will have the unique opportunity to be available the entire 48 hours you are working to assist the consumers with their daily routines and recreational activities. There is a weekend recreation schedule that you will have an opportunity to help develop and be responsible to carry out with service recipients. Community involvement is dependent on the service recipient's interests and hobbies; which may include activities like going out for a walk, to eat at a local restaurant, adventuring to a local museum, or enjoying a movie in theatres together. Weekend Recreational Specialist (DSP) Schedule: This position offers two weekend shifts per month; starting Friday afternoon and ending Sunday afternoon, with two paid asleep overnights included. This is typically a 48 hour shift, including 16 hours of asleep overnight scheduled. This is the perfect job for someone who works another job during the week, is in school, or who is looking for secondary employment that makes a difference!
