Summary The Center is looking for a compassionate RN with an ability to remain calm under pressure. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, performing routine checks, and assisting Program Directors and medical staff to meet client needs. To be successful as an RN you should be able to take direction and work well in stressful situations. A good RN has great observational skills and empathy for patients while remaining professional. RN Responsibilities: Follow all medication control policies and procedures Obtain and accurately document a relevant health history from patients. Identify medical and mental health problems and develop/implement a plan of care to minimize complications and promote optimal health. Counsel patients and use the therapeutic relationship to promote health. Monitor and ensure the quality of healthcare practices, including agency policies and procedures, documentation, and professional and licensing standards of care. Perform evaluation and assessment of new and current patients to determine appropriateness for treatment or need for modification(s) to their treatment. Assist Medical Director or program physician with physical examinations and other procedures as required or directed Perform on-call duties as a part of rotational schedule RN Requirements: Must be a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to manage floor & staff. Must be able to manage different tasks throughout shift. Must have excellent time management skills.
