ALLETE Internship Engineering - Electrical - 5329 in Duluth, Minnesota

Our culture drives excellence through our shared values of integrity, safety, people, and the planet. RESPONSIBILITIES: Internship activities may include but are not limited to the following. Participate in relay trip event analysis to identify root cause on transmission, distribution and generation systems. Assist with the development and commissioning of protection relay settings and perform short circuit model updates/verification to ensure accuracy. REQUIREMENTS: Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as occasional travel may be required. Candidates may be subject to assessment of skills, job match, and/or aptitude. DETAILS & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP: This internship will report in person to Duluth, MN. This role is expected to begin May or June 2025. The internship will be full time during summer with the possibility of extending to part-time during academic terms up until graduation. ALLETE will comply with college requirements.
