About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a position to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting efforts of the Automation Sales Engineer team to develop customer and distributor expertise in selecting and applying WEG Automation offers. This is accomplished through the development and delivery of training materials and resources that strengthen technical, application, and commercial competencies on these products and solutions. These efforts will help to ensure the ASE team is fully equipped and successful selling and supporting WEG Automation Offers with the ultimate objective of attaining or exceeding revenue and profitability targets. Success in this position requires advanced commercial and technical knowledge of WEG Automation offers and related application of those offers. Close coordination with other WEG Electric Corp. organizations and resources and adherence to company Code of Conduct are fundamental requirements of the position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create Channel and Sales training curriculum for WEG Automation Offers, creating new content and materials whenrequired, ensure these materials remain current and are updated as new products and information become available

  • Provide Automation Sales Team product application assistance as needed in support of their selling efforts

  • Provide recommendations for the design and specification of training demo equipment, ensure Automation Sales Engineers maintain current and working equipment and are proficient in their use.

  • Maintain curriculum development plan and schedule providing periodic updates to the Automation National Sales Manager

  • Schedule and implement Channel and Sales training events, both virtual and instructor led, with the assistance of the Automation Sales and Marketing Specialist and appropriate Automation Sales Engineers

  • Assist Automation Sales Engineers with their Channel training plans and, when required, participate in delivery of training virtually and in-person

  • Maintain close coordination with Automation Business Product Management teams to ensure alignment and gain assistance in training collateral and maintenance

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • Education: (minimum education or equivalent in relevant experience)Bachelor-s degree

  • Field of Study if required: Bachelor-s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge / training:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

  • Proficient in social media platforms

  • Demonstrated success in training, developing, and selling resources in the selection, application, and promotion of

  • Industrial Automation, Power, and Motor Control offers

  • Excellent communication skills, especially public speaking

  • Self-directed with strong time and priority management skills

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Experience:

  • 5+ years of successful experience in the sale, support and application of Industrial and Commercial Motor Control and Automation Products
