As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing complex projects within our Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) business unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing and executing projects that improve efficiency, productivity, and safety in various industries.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget, and driving customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise and project management skills will be instrumental in successfully delivering innovative solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements and provide effective control solutions.

  • Design and develop control strategies based on customer requirements.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers.

  • Collaborate and lead project teams to design and configure DCS hardware and software solutions.

  • Create documentation for systems and configuration to deliver to customers.

  • Provide technical support during commissioning, startups, and shutdowns.

  • Deliver high quality projects within cost and on time.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

WE VALUE

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Distributed Control Systems, Experion PKS and TDC 3000 beneficial.

  • Experience in the process automation or industrial control systems industry preferred

  • Experience working in chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial power generation, pulp and paper, petrochemical or related environments is beneficial

  • Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation.

  • Knowledge of batch standards and sequential controls.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
