PeopleReady Equipment Maintenance Technician in Dulles, Virginia

Peopleready Skilled Trades has an immediate need to hire an Equipment Technician with a proven track record in providing maintenance and service for branch vehicles, and equipment. If you are passionate about servicing and troubleshooting equipment and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for immediate consideration.

Note: The pay rate for this job is $23 - $28 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintenance of all equipment.

  • Maintain the restricted status of chemical storage facility to keep area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.

  • Ensure trash and debris are removed from the grounds.

  • Transport vehicles and equipment for repair outside the facility.

  • Provide assistance with filling tanks with fertilizers and pesticides.

  • Offload and maintain inventory of deliveries.

  • PPE must be worn and used in accordance with the instructions provided.

 Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license

  • Must have small engine repair experience

  • Driving record must pass insurability test

  • Must obtain VDACS registered technician license within 30 days of employment

  • Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of employment

  • Be able to demonstrate the math skills necessary to read fill charts and correctly measure liquids and solids

  • Must be at least 18 years or older Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of related experience Forklift Certified (Preferred)

  • OSHA Certified or willingness to obtain
