Manufacturing Associates are responsible for the assembly, packaging, shipping, and sewing of products according to work orders, drawings and blueprints. Some of the duties include use of electrical and air powered hand tools such as drill presses, saws, riveters, sanders, hammers, handsaws, and routers. Crimp, stake, screw, glue, bolt and rivet parts together. Read, follow and assemble electrical products according to schematics. Complete assembly work as required using production drawings. Assemble Door-parts products, samples, and specials as per customer specifications. Products may be standard or include various product options. Sew units according to work orders, drawings and blueprints, using an industrial sewing machine.

Other duties may be assigned. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Read and complete work orders and pick lists. Operate fork lift/hoist/crane. Operate pneumatic or electric tools, a variety of hand tools including hammers and hand saws. Package and ship product. Generate shipping documents using a computer. Complete assembly work as required using production drawings. Weld plastic type material using heat and/or radio frequency.
