This position is responsible for the design of products that meet the criteria set forth, support of production to manufacture the products, support of the order fulfillment process, and support products after production introduction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Write test plans and perform tests to verify analysis.

Design test stands.

Coordinate with suppliers.

Write purchase specifications.

Review drawings for correctness.

Design tooling and fixtures.

Support production, customer service, and applications.

Perform failure analysis.

Write engineering change notices and sign for technical acceptance.

Conceptualize new designs.

Update MRP system.

Follow all established procedures, standards and policies.

Maintain a professional working atmosphere.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Write test plans and perform tests

Design tooling and fixtures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in electrical engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience as demonstrated by PE certification.
