Confidential Employer Utility Operator - Night Shift in DuBois, Pennsylvania

This position is responsible for ensuring the packaging line runs efficiently by monitoring equipment, trouble shooting minor mechanical issues, supporting the Operation in multiple areas and by reporting downtime issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Operate and constantly monitor case packing equipment in compliance with GMP and HACCP guidelines; alerting maintenance and/or management of any mechanical and/or operational issues;
  • Identify and report health or safety hazards & dangerous situations and put appropriate control measures in place, raising safety contacts where unsafe acts or practices are identified.
  • Stock equipment with corrugate;
  • Monitor and operate the palletizing equipment and replace consumable palletizer materials as required;
  • Maintain a clean workstation by employing a clean as you go mentality and maintain the highest standard of right first time
  • Perform preventative maintenance as needed
  • Responsible for maximizing production quality and output in their area
  • Completing line product changeovers
  • Perform product visual quality checks
  • Accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and logs as required;
  • Operate forklift
  • Accurately enter/program packaging with correct information;
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
