ICU Medical Facility Maintenance Lead, Electrical in Dublin, Ohio

Position Summary Department is responsible for grounds and facility maintenance and repairs in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In conjunction with Supervisor, the incumbent will act as a technical resource for the Facility and be responsible for training, assigning, and overseeing the work of lower-level technicians, as well as scheduling and supervising contractors and vendors performing repair activities. Utilizing MVP CMMS work order management system, individual will prioritize, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective repair activities performed by Building and Grounds Keeping personnel. Will also be responsible for accurate communication with internal customers, vendors, and management to allow for proper planning and forecasting of budgets and repair forecasts to mitigate impact to other departments. This role is 100% onsite at our Dublin, OH manufacturing facility. To be considered you must fill out the application in it's entirety or upload a current resume. * * Essential Duties & Responsibilities · In conjunction with Facilities Supervisor, evaluate work orders to establish proper work order priorities. Perform overall administrative functions for facility work orders in the MVP CMMS system. · In conjunction with Supervisor, train, schedule daily activities, and verify work properly documented for Building and Groundskeeping personnel. Advise Facilities Supervisor of performance deficiencies or coaching opportunities conducted or required. · In conjunction with Facilities Management, responsible for supporting the setting up and tearing down of plant activities such as Family Day as requested. · Work with contractors to determine work required and ensure contractor has skills/knowledge to complete job needs. · Ensure all permits or other required paperwork properly completed and in place prior to conducting any work. · Perform maintenance and troubleshooting related to all plant power distribution systems. · Perform maintenance and troubleshooting related to all plant HVAC systems. · Installation of production equipment, to include electrical, pneumatic and water connections. * * Knowledge & Skills · Must be able to qualify for safety harness training, forklift certification, and plant vehicle operation. · Conversant with problems and repair remedies associated with pipe fitting, electrical, floor repair, rigging, and facilities repair. Work with tools such as, but not limited to, plumbers snake, wrenches, screwdrivers, socket set, utility knife, electrical multi-meters, pipe threaders, welders (stick welding, soldering and TIG), hand tools and others. · Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, data collection, and e-mail. · Exceptional customer service skills working with all levels of personnel. · Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience · Certified Journeyman electrician strongly preferred. Other education/certifications in the electrical and HVAC trades will be considered.* · Minimum five years’ industrial or commercial facilities experience required. Prefer experience working in a regulated industry with clean room operations (minimum of, ISO 7). · Experience should include minimum three-years hands-on facility repair experience. · Preferred experience working in CMMS work order management system · Must understand electrical troubleshooting techniques, achieved through experience and/or coursework.
