What Administration contributes to Cardinal Health

Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.

Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.

*This is a hybrid position : must be able and willing to work in the Dublin, OH office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Managing assigned SVP calendars and team calendaring assistance

  • Providing administrative support to assigned teams

  • Managing in-office mail

  • Assistance formatting, proofing, and coordinating edits from various stakeholders to prepare executive materials

  • New vendor setup and support

  • Opening, maintaining, and closing matters in e-billing systems

  • Tracking and submitting invoices in e-billing systems

  • Onboarding/offboarding departmental employees

  • Drafting routine notices and documents to the business and third parties

  • Document and content management and governance (e.g., templates, forms, slide decks)

  • Remaining current and informing teams of company policy changes (e.g., Travel and Expenses)

  • Scheduling travel and processing expenses

  • Assistance sending and receiving settlement payments

  • Meetings & event support

  • Facilities management and coordination

  • Ordering and distribution of supplies

  • Responsibility for one or more software systems, as well as backup responsibilities for one or more systems (e.g., iManage; Legal Tracker; Ariba)

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience, preferred

  • High School Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent experience, preferred

  • Fluency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint

  • Takes the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills in order to accomplish a wide variety of assignments

  • Comprehensive knowledge in technical or specialty area

  • Ability to apply knowledge beyond own areas of expertise

  • Performs the most complex and technically challenging work within area of specialization

  • Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions for team

  • Works independently to interpret and apply company procedures to complete work

  • Provides guidance to less experienced team members

  • May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise

Anticipated pay range : $25.80-$38.63 per hour
