Johnson Controls Inc. Controls Systems Engineering Intern in Dublin, Ohio

What you will do Performs assigned system hardware, software, and commissioning tasks using Johnson Controls design, configuration and commissioning tools, under direct supervision and using established standards. How you will do it 1. Assist in the hardware design using the standard library including the flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, and electric schematics. 2. Assists with project configurations, material selections, modifications, and bill of materials development using selection navigator. 3. Coordinates the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation. Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation. 4. Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects. 5. Assist with software programming and in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. 6. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation. 7. Keeps management informed of job progress and issues. 8. Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. 9. Documents changes and provides information for creation and completion of as-built documentation. 10. Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
