Google Senior Accountant, Cloud Controllership in Dublin, Ireland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Professional qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

  • Candidates will typically have 7 years of experience in a relevant accounting role, and experience with accounting principles (US GAAP or related international accounting standards).

  • Experience in controllership, accounting or finance role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in accounting practice and/or public multinational high-tech companies, with a focus on process and strategic improvements.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams at all levels.

  • Ability to manage a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

  • Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.

  • Excellent team player, people management, and communication skills, with the ability to drive for results.

You will support the growing portfolio of Cloud companies in EMEA, and expansion of Cloud products and infrastructure in the region to enable the long-term growth and success of the business.

  • Be responsible for the financial and tax compliance for a portfolio of Cloud companies in EMEA.

  • Design, develop and present periodic reporting and financial analyses to executive management ensuring the integrity of the financials.

  • Ensure appropriate controls and governance structures are established and operating effectively.

  • Support and drive key initiatives and projects across international controllership representing Cloud.

  • Partner with Tax, Finance, Legal, and Business teams aswell as external advisors on future countries and product launches for Cloud across the region.
