The CBRE HSE Emergency Preparedness Program Manager position is part of the EHS Compliance Team and acts as the subject matter expert for providing the development of emergency preparedness plans and programs on a global scale. This position helps develop operational guidance for company emergency preparedness functions and response action.

Responsibilities

● Supporting the client’s Global EHS Emergency Preparedness Team in developing global, regional and local programs and standards for operational preparedness and response for client operations

● Assist the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) & Asia Pacific (APAC) regions as the primary emergency preparedness subject matter expert

● Collaboratively work with cross-functional business partners to identify opportunities for improvement in their emergency preparedness & response programs and recommend strategic enhancements

● Assist business partners in the development and execution of emergency preparedness & response plans, training and exercises

● Develop metrics for emergency preparedness & response to provide insight into global, regional and local vulnerabilities and operations capabilities that can be leveraged for strategic planning

● Support active emergency response events globally, regionally and locally as requested

● Ability to work flexible hours to participate in stakeholder meetings internationally, particularly with the US and the EMEA region

● Travel based on project needs

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

● Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience to the Emergency Management field

● Preferably 5+ years working in an emergency management related field within the EMEA region

● Knowledge of Business Continuity & Incident Management principles and best practices

● Proven track record of successfully managing complex emergency preparedness & response programs, ideally with multi-national organizations.

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly manner

● Ability to assimilate, analyze and present complex problems, identify necessary actions, make recommendations and support implementation

● Ability to provide strategic and tactical advice to multiple stakeholders understanding and acknowledging different stakeholder needs

● Applicable experience developing emergency management plans, programs, and policies in the private sector (technology industry preferred)

● Working knowledge and understanding of ISO 21110, 22301 & 22320

● Associate Emergency Manager (AEM), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or other relevant certification
