Role and Responsibilities

Role Summary

CAE Parc Aviation is an approved Maintenance Organisation. We hold EASA Part 145 (IE. 145.072) and FAA (7EPY673C) approvals for the performance of Engine Borescope Inspection Services. CAE Parc Aviation are seeking Borescope Inspectors. The position offered is full time.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Line Maintenance Borescope Inspectors will perform the following functions:

  • Working a night shift rotation at a fixed location or alternating between European bases the Line Maintenance Borescope Inspector will perform scheduled and unscheduled borescope inspections on a large modern fleet under CAE Parc Aviation’s 145 approval for our customers.

  • Generate reports documenting the engines condition and Issue EASA 145 Form 1 Certification as appropiate.

  • The Line Maintenance Borescope Inspector will be supported by our Maintenance Coordinator Team, based in Dublin.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The right to work in the EU.

  • Hold an EASA B1 Licence or have completed an Apprenticeship or Training in Aircraft Engine Maintenance environment to a similar level.

  • A minimum of 2 years recent borescope inspection experience

  • Hold or have recently held authorisation to certify borescope inspection tasks.

  • Borescope inspection experience and formal documented training on: CFM 56 and, CFMI LEAP Series, at a minimum.

  • Experience using GE borescope inspection equipment (preferred)

  • Proficiency in written and oral English.
