Jabil EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Ireland, based in Blanchardstown Dublin 15 is looking for an Inventory Analyst - evening shift to join our Inventory Control team.

JOB SUMMARY:

This role requires the ability to take ownership for monitoring inventory levels, traceability, and identifying, classifying, and finding the root causes of inventory inaccuracies. It also requires the ability to give feedback and possible solutions to manager for eliminating further discrepancies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for monitoring all material transactions for assigned area(s).

  • Responsible for identifying, resolving, and finding the root cause of discrepancies and other related inventory errors.

  • Responsible for recommending changes that will eliminate or greatly reduce future inaccuracies from reoccurring.

  • Assists with material handling functions and fill in for other Inventory Control personnel as required and as specified by the Inventory Control Manager.

  • Responsible for eliminating any manufacturing downtime associated with assigned area (where applicable).

  • Performs regular component cycle counts as required.

  • Performs inventory transactions and reporting on customer systems when required.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of any materials management systems that will enhance inventory control at Jabil Circuit.

  • Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

  • Complies and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.

  • Strong planning & organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.

Essential criteria

  • Minimum Leaving Certificate required.

  • Minimum Operator III level or current Material Handlers at level III.

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working as an Inventory Analyst or a similar role in Supply Chain is required. May substitute experience in lieu of educational requirements.

  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills.

  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP with a solid understanding of manufacturing, bills of material, product lifecycle management, and supply chain operations.

Desired criteria

  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management is desired.

  • Previous SAP experience is desired.

  • 3-5 years’ experience working as an Inventory Analyst within Supply Chain / Electronic Manufacturing is desired.

  • Experience in leading process improvements / lean manufacturing activities in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
