Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Executive - Media Relations, Partnerships & Promotions at Global Village. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Briefing PR agency about press releases needed to communicate the different offerings and events of Global Village.

  • Assist in setting the PR plan and following up with the PR agency to ensure meeting timelines.

  • Managing media FAM trips on site and securing their requirements such as PR assets, dining bookings, routes planning, and coordinating with stakeholders.

  • Create and update Global Village media database.

  • Distribution of complementary media assets and creating a log for all distributions.

  • Managing media permit requests through an online platform/portal.

  • Research Global Village and identify hidden gems that get briefed to the PR agency for drafting releases.

  • Research Global Village and create a “fun facts” sheet that gets updated throughout the season to be used by different stakeholders.

  • Managing media interviews at Global Village and externally (at media channels). This includes sourcing for talking points and questions, supporting the PR agency in drafting the talking points and answers for the spokespeople, attending interviews on-site and off-site, ensuring the brief is done for GV spokespeople, and identifying and preparing on-site locations where interviews take place.

  • Proofreading the press releases shared by the PR agency and editing content as needed, ensuring the releases are meeting the objectives they were meant for and using the correct Global Village style.

  • Foster media relations through proactive engagement, press releases, and media events, resulting in extensive coverage and positive brand positioning.

  • Manage on-ground shoots for both internal and external companies, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute shoots within budget and timeline constraints.

  • Liaise with sister companies seasonal contract agreements (CCA & Roxy & Ain Dubai) and coordinate deliverables

  • Coordinate and oversee partnership activations and events, ensuring seamless execution and engagement with the target audience.

  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with external companies, resulting in successful collaborations and increased brand exposure.

  • Monitor and review Sponsorship communications.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

  • Emirati National, graduated in communications/marketing Business Management or related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of key media players with a good network of contacts and connections.

  • Relevant experience with in Media Relations and marketing communications.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Project management Skills

  • Time & Planning Management Skills

  • Excellent MS Office skills, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Presentation Skills and attention to detail and quality
