Job Overview :

Responsible for the execution of international logistics activities (including import / export processes and study / application of special customs regimes) and national materials to ensure the correct handling of loads requested, taking into account the needs of cost, time and quality.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Raising requisitions based on Materials Requisition Form (MRF) sent by the equipment coordinators, technicians, and engineers/PMT. This process includes floating Request for Quotations from the SCM (buyer), getting correct ident codes, and later on inputting into appropriate system used by the respective projects

  • Follow up and make sure the requisition in the system gets approved by PMT and get it assigned to a buyer

  • Follow up with buyer for PO issuance, payment status (if it is an advanced payment then a series of process to be followed up with Account Payable for receipt in Oracle, MCC, etc), and delivery of the purchased stuffs until they are received in the PPG shop

  • Follow up with store man for material receiving status. If not receive then check with expeditor and traffic team for late delivery

  • Make receipt of the received items in system (Oracle)

  • Prepare cost tracking and provide report to PMT on a weekly basis

  • Update materials and requisitions status in Share Point

  • Update tracking file for budgeted and unbudgeted items that will be purchased (depends on project requirements to control and monitor budget)

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum Degree qualification in Foreign Trade or International Relations

  • 5-7 years plus, a minimum of purchasing and subcontracting work experience, of which four years directly concerned with Offshore/Subsea Engineering and Construction projects

Preferred Qualifications and Education:
