About the Role:

To be the driving force behind our creative imagery and video, supporting the Creative Director to bring to life BAU, Seasonal and Brand campaigns, always with a customer first mindset and ensuring that our brand guidelines and aesthetic are adhered to and executed across all touchpoints.

You will translate commercial and creative briefs into engaging stories and make decisions in terms of the artistic approach, style and mood.

Focusing on our fashion (men's, women's, kid's) , home and beauty offering across all verticals you will art direct and working alongside our production team to create best in region and industry, fashion lead imagery and video. deliver external and internal shoots,

This role requires a highly creative and conceptual person, with strong communication skills, excellent presentation skills and a very strong fashion aspirational visual focus.

What you will need:

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

• Craft stand out creative visuals for the department store, with a strong ability to articulate the creative

vision in a way that is easily understood and engaging whilst evolving the fashion direction to ensure that the department store remains at the forefront of customers mind and focus.

• Deliver creative shoot concepts with brand consistency across all touch-points, ensuring that these meet key business and departmental KPIs

• Working closely with the content team to understand asset performance and develop creative strategies based on data and customer insight.

• Be part of initial ideation and be able to take ideas and concepts forward, executing these alongside the creative production and editorial styling teams.

• Confidently be able to present and pitch concepts to internal stakeholders and at times external partners.

• Work with external brands on key brand exposures and brand partnerships, bringing these to the customer in the form of creative imagery and video.

• Actively play a part in the growth of our key categories, establishing the visual direction across onsite, app and social platforms and ensuring these are consistently executed.

• Ensure a regional approach to all creatives with a focus on localization.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with the Creative Director to evolve (based on trade and performance) and continue to implement brand and visual guidelines; championing these in your dealings with stakeholders in the business.

• Work closely with the design team to inspire and collaborate on key projects focusing on creating a synergy between visuals and design to ensure strong execution and creative roll out on final assets

• Work alongside the Creative production team to ensure work is delivered according to set deadlines and department SLAs.

• Employ a 360 approach while working with key stakeholders and teams, constantly managing a clear

communication channel and correctly implementing briefs into creative execution.

People Management Roles and Responsibilities

• Support and mentor junior members of the creative team to ensure growth and development within the team. You should be able to give constructive feedback to the team to ensure that the team remains motivated and passionate about executing the creative brand strategy.

• Effectively delegate projects throughout the team to support workload and utilize resource, signing off on day to day projects, ensuring high standards are met at all times and actively reporting to Creative Director on project status

About You

Education/Certification and Continued Education

• BA/HND or equivalent in advertising/art direction/graphic/digital design/ fashion related field

Years of Experience

• You have 5+ years of experience in the creative industry, with previous experience as an Art Director within Imagery and Video shoots.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven experience in concepting and delivering strong, engaging creative assets within a luxury editorial and commercial environment.

• Experience with on set direction in both video and stills

• Work well within a team as an inspirational member and collaborator

• You understand how to take a concept and roll it out to create suitable assets across many formats (onsite/social/ digital marketing/ email)

• Strong proven fashion background and understanding of current trends and shifts within the cultural landscape .

• Sharp eye for post production and able to put together retouch briefs

• You have the ability to work at speed, with an agile approach to regular changes without compromising on quality.

• Good technical knowledge of lighting and photography and able to give constructive on set feedback in these areas to ensure desired look is achieved.

• Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and confidently

• Proactive and able to take initiative and work with autonomy

• Experience art directing shoots for Home, Fashion (Mens, Womens, Kids) and beauty

Additional Requirements

• Experience in Set Design would be advantageous

• Strong Portfolio that demonstrates highest level of creative work in editorial and commercial environment.
