Job Purpose:

The job holder will manage and supervise projects related to master project plans & schedules and ensure regular update of plans so that they accurately reflect project progress as per business plan.

Key responsibility:

•Develop, update, and implement project delivery plans to ensure efficient project completion and handover as per DHRE’s project plan.

•Develop and implement planned versus actual progress charts (Histograms/Curves), prepare master development programme sequence, track main challenges & risk factors to provide details on project progress.

•Evaluate allocation of resources and analyze gaps between the planned and actual progress for projects in-order to highlight the areas of concern and provide recommendations which required actions.

•Review the EoT (Extension of time) consultant recommendation ensuring compliance with department objectives.

•Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverable such as products, engineering documents, fabrication status and construction of all discipline to ensure that the project breakdown structure is maintained for all projects as per company standards.

•Develop strong working relationships with consultants/contractors/sub-contractors and external parties to ensure a collaborative approach to project co-ordination.

•Support section head in the delivery and continual improvement of the quality and effectiveness of DHRE’s project planning activities through guidance, leadership and focus in-order to achieve or exceed the site values agreed within the Project Cost Plans.

•Establish and agree project reporting procedures, prepare and present monthly project progress on measures for improving schedule performance.

Qualification:

•Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture

•Diploma in Construction Management/Planning - preferred

Experience:

•Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience with at-least 2 years in project planning

•Experience in using Ms. Project scheduler will be advantageous

Job Specific Knowledge:

•Project Management skills.

•Understanding of market research and data analysis

•Proficiency in using Ms. Project, Visio, Excel and Power-point

•Knowledge of business operations and procedures
