About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Leisure Sales to join the team of Madinat Jumeirah Resort.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure achievement of the financial targets for the Leisure Segment through static and dynamic implementing short and long terms sales plans for the segment

  • Actively leads, coaches, and develops a team of experts in their respective markets, ensuring that each performs at their very best and that MJ as a complex remains leader and has its share of market wallet on the luxury segment.

  • Build, maintain and keep nurturing positive relationship with key partners to maximize on strategic goals

  • Provides support and tactical innovation to the DOSM on Leisure Market strategy either by partners or markets

  • Be always a spokesperson of Jumeirah’s Brand, its image and ethics connecting corporate policy and strategy with all Sales actions

  • Monitors team performance goals and sales targets with clear KPIs

  • Encourage the team to be entrepreneurial & create uniqueness in sales activities to always be relevant, memorable, and pro-active

  • Ensures the team is fully knowledgeable and accountable for their markets, business insights to be shared and acted upon

  • Maintains its knowledge of markets and competitor products to be agile and assess opportunities and risks

  • To produce sales call report in sales force after each sales call and update the client details whenever there is a change in their details so to ensure our database is always up to date

About you:

  • 7-8 years in a Leadership role in the luxury hotel company.

  • In-depth experience understanding of the leisure multi market

  • Local and International market media experience.

  • Solid understanding of marketing & PR best practices.

  • Strong affiliation with interactive marketing and media strategy, planning and campaign management.

  • Good understanding of core hotel operations.
