Leaders of Tomorrow, Dubai Holding Graduate Programme has a vacancy for a Senior Executive – Contracts and Procurement, reporting to the Chief Contracts and Procurement Officer. The role holder will work with Contracts, Procurement and Estimation team and perform activities that support the business in the design and delivery of major residential and mixed-use communities.

Key Accountabilities:

Procurement:

• Assist the department with the preparation of tender documentation for consultant and contractor and respond to bidder’s queries by co-ordinating with different departments.

• Review tender returns as required and provide recommendations.

• Participate in negotiations with consultants and contractors.

• Assist the team in the preparation of award documentation, draft contracts and commercial/ contractual correspondence and liaise with relevant departments for approval.

Estimation:

• Assist the estimation department in reviewing Cost Plans by Cost Consultants at each design stage, ensuring alignment with Client's brief and design. Identify rate variations, verify quantities, compare rates with historical data, and address issues with Cost Consultants for accurate Cost Plans aligned with Client's Target Budget.

• Prepare "Target Budget" in accordance with the information/ Development brief provided and meet the overall budget expectations.

• Assist the development design team with construction cost estimates for feasibility studies.

• Support with the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BoQ) in accordance with scope of work, drawings and specifications and its pricing in line with current market rates in order to deliver Cost Plans to projects where external Cost Consultants are not appointed.

Contracts:

• Proactively monitor contracts under execution; while ensuring all insurances, bonds and securities meet contract specifications.

• Participate in the review of documentation to monitor compliance with the policies and procedures for the overall department.

• Maintain accurate and organized logs for all ongoing projects/contracts, capturing key milestones and updates.

• Collaborate closely with the Procurement and Project Teams to comprehensively review Variations, Claims, and Extensions of Time (EOT's).

Who we are looking for candidates with the following:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above (or equivalent).

• Maximum 1-year has surpassed since graduation year date.

• Completion or exemption of UAE National Service (if applicable).

• Previous internship/training experience is preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively and proficiently in English.

• Involvement in extra-curricular activities or community initiatives during university.

Education / Professional Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, Construction or similar will be advantageous.
