Job Information

DuBois Central Catholic School Nurse in Du Bois, Pennsylvania

Part Time position for local  school.

Must be licensed to practice as a LPN or RN in PA and certified in CPR.

This position is for 1 or 2 days per week.

Preferred: LPN or RN with a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 1 year experience in public health, community health, school health, or pediatric nursing. 

Will provide preventive health services to facilitate the student's optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development.  Identifies problems and disabilities and provides such services as case finding, health education, referring and care in order to help prevent serious health problems.

Must be able to exercise professional judgment in making decisions, communicate appropriately and effectively with students, parents, administrators and other school personnel, organize a clinic and manage time, use a computer and various software applications, and provide strict confidentiality.
