GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for electrical activities under the direction of the electrical supervisor. All performed activities are to be done ensuring they correspond with company goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Functions and Details:
- Perform duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicates departmental information to electrical supervisor on a daily basis or as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Finishing Foreman or Manufacturing Manager.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Willingness to work overtime as required by work load.
Knowledge of LOTO, and applicable electrical codes as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Install, connect and test general manufacturing wiring.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Communication -- written and verbal
- Willingness to follow instruction
- Ability to perform all essential functions of this job
Ability to operate fork lift and overhead cranes.
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: *Electrical degree or certificate preferred, but not required if 2 years of electrical work experience is shown. Familiarity with electrical systems, tools, codes, equipment, and safety procedures is required.
Physical Requirements: Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and else required to perform the job.
