GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for electrical activities under the direction of the electrical supervisor.  All performed activities are to be done ensuring they correspond with company goals and objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

Functions and Details:

  1. Perform duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Communicates departmental information to electrical supervisor on a daily basis or as needed.
  3. Other duties as assigned by Finishing Foreman or Manufacturing Manager.
  4. Willingness to travel as required.
  5. Willingness to work overtime as required by work load.
  6. Knowledge of LOTO, and applicable electrical codes as required.

     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Install, connect and test general manufacturing wiring.
  2. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  3. Ability to work independently or with a team.
  4. Communication -- written and verbal
  5. Willingness to follow instruction
  6. Ability to perform all essential functions of this job
  7. Ability to operate fork lift and overhead cranes.

     

     

     

*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  *Electrical degree or certificate preferred, but not required if 2 years of  electrical work experience is shown.  Familiarity with electrical systems, tools, codes, equipment, and safety procedures is required.

 

Physical Requirements: Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and else required to perform the job.
