Garthalene, Inc Cook - Line Cook in Drummond Island, Michigan

Chucks Place Bar & Grill on Drummond Island has an immediate position open for First Line Cook.  This position is a combination of days and nights and weekends.

We are currently closed on Sundays.  We offer a paid vacation between Christmas and New Years.

Candidate must have experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced friendly environment.

Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene.

Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances

Excellent communication skills.

Able to perform well under pressure and give instructions efficiently.

Physically able to stand and move around for long periods when necessary.

Ability to work with servers to assure that orders are up to standard and completed in a timely manner.

Ensuring the kitchen operates with health department procedures, food safety standards and hygiene requirements.
