Confidential Employer Executive Coordinator in DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania

The Executive Coordinator position is multi-faceted. The successful candidate will provide support for the Executive Director and Vita Board; write proposals and reports; participate in public relations and fundraising activities; and coordinate office operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supports and works closely with the Executive Director and Board committees.
  • Assists the Executive Director in maintaining communications with the Board, partners, grantors, and staff.
  • Prepares Board materials and distributes packets for meetings
  • Works collaboratively with Program Directors, Coordinators, Finance Manager, and consultants.
  • Assists the Executive Director in researching, writing and monitoring grants.
  • Writes and edits newsletters, proposals, reports, public relations copy and takes meeting minutes.
  • Maintains and manages website and social media.
  • Handles recruitment of students, teachers, volunteers, and responds to inquiries.
  • Assists with student registration at class sites throughout the county.
  • Manages the office and serves as COVID-19 Safety Officer.
  • Negotiates with vendors and liaises with property managers.
  • Processes purchase orders and receipts and does banking.
  • Serves as IT liaison and manages network, email, phone, and Zoom accounts.
  • Complies with Vita's policies and procedures as specified in the Vita Employment Policy Manual.
  • Executes other responsibilities as assigned

     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or similar field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in non-profit administration, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to establish relationships and network with others, including donors, partners, and representatives from county and state government.
  • Willingness and ability to work extended or weekend hours, as needed.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with using social media.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and commitment to accurate record keeping.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Internet.
  • Maturity and sensitivity working with diverse populations.
