STV is seeking a Corporate Tax Accountant to work in one of our major NE or SE area offices. Must be within commutable distance to be in the office for the hybrid schedule of 3 days week/in office.
Key responsibilities: Support the company's income tax process, including the preparation of financial information for external service providers Ensure accurate and timely recording of entries for tax-related GL accounts Assist in coordinating timely tax payments to various income tax authorities Prepare monthly reconciliations of tax-related accounts and proactively resolve discrepancies Assist in the preparation of various indirect tax returns, such as sales and use, personal property, and other tax filings Assist in the preparation of annual income tax returns for Joint Ventures. Conduct basic technical research to address tax issues Support company tax audits, respond to tax notices, and facilitate timely resolution of other tax matters under the guidance of the Tax Manager Serve as a resource for tax department management, assisting with day-to-day issues and inquiries arising from all company areas Completes other special projects as assigned Periodictravel to our Douglassville, PA office will be required
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in accounting A minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting Proactive problem solver Strong organizational & communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to meet highly detailed reporting requirements Effective prioritization and multitasking skills, especially under tight deadlines Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite of products
Compensation Range:$50,321.00 - $67,095.00
