Job Description Summary

The Technical Support Analyst Intern supports and maintains desktop computer systems and peripherals throughout Southeast Health and multiple outlying clinics and departments. They perform the installation and life-cycle management of desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals, and other IT end-user devices in accordance with approved Policy and Procedure.

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or equivalent (required). MCP, A+, or other industry recognized technical certification (preferred). AS degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred). Exceptional customer service skills (REQUIRED).

LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Good verbal and written communication skills. Good prioritization and decision-making ability. Ability to operate in a fast paced and stressful environment.

SKILLS / JOB DUTIES:

Provide Level I technical support to clinical and line of business end users. Installs and configures a variety of end-user IT devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.) for use throughout the hospital and multiple clinics. Deploys software to workstations and laptops using manual processes and automated tools. Maintains accurate inventory of hospital IT assets and equipment. Assists with regular preventive maintenance on equipment throughout the hospital and clinics. Assists with troubleshooting and repairing of various problems related to end-user systems, including hardware and software issues. Escalates problems and reports anomalies to senior staff in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains service levels consistent with defined Service Level Agreements.
